Assistant Buyer / Buyer – Fashion Retail (Menswear / Womenswear)

Location: Hong Kong Island

Job Responsibilities

• Manage assigned product categories and support seasonal buying strategies
• Source new products and identify market trends to maximize sales opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers
• Negotiate product costs, order quantities and commercial terms with vendors
• Prepare buying reports, sales analysis and inventory performance reviews
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment plans to optimize inventory efficiency
• Develop sales forecasts and support OTB (Open-to-Buy) planning
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and pricing studies
• Collaborate with internal departments to support product launches and promotional activities
• Handle buying administration, purchase orders and vendor communications

Requirements

• Degree holder in any discipline
• 3-5 years of buying, merchandising, sourcing or procurement experience
• Fashion, apparel, retail or lifestyle product experience preferred
• Experience handling Menswear or Womenswear categories is an advantage
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical abilities
• Commercial mindset with good fashion and market awareness
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
