Responsibilities:

• For Medical Technologist (MLT I)
• Provide leadership and management to the laboratory technologists and sections
• Organize staff rosters
• Supervise technical staffs and arrange training for staffs
• Signing laboratory reports
• Oversee maintenance and servicing of equipment
• Assist technical manager to develop new tests, provide technical support
• Ensure the computer LIS system is optimized for intended use

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Biomedical Science/Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
• Registration with the Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologists Board (MLT Part I or II)
• Familiar with ISO 15189:2012 and HOKLAS accreditation in medical laboratory
• With minimum of 4 years’ experience in molecular genetics plus or minus serology field for Medical Technologist (MLT I), fresh graduates are welcome for Associate Medical Technologist (MLT II).
• With experience in issuing clinical reports and expect to apply for HOKLAS approved signatory (AS) in the field of molecular genetics (AS in serology is a plus) for Medical Technologist (MLT I)
• Fluent in Cantonese and English, writing and speaking; fluency in Mandarin is a plus
• Shift duty is required
